Tom had fun memories of his life in KTown. He always told us stories of Red Curtain eatery, famous people like Change Waka etc. A few years ago, when he and I had a function in Kumba, my driver disappointed me by coming late. I decided to take steering myself while Tom was a co-driver whose job was only to keep me awake with jokes. I am not amongst those who think they knew Tom in and out , because you could not predict what would excite Tom and what wouldn't. For instance, on this very trip, as we drove pass the junction that goes to the SW, Tom saw a few cows grazing along the road. Guess what, his face suddenly brightened and he exclaimed, "look at cows, and they are eating grass!". Up till this moment I have not yet understood what was uncommon with that scene that would excite my brother to that extent. I only saw that face again when we arrived Kumba and he took me to the famous Red Curtain chop house. We had a nice time!! For what I know, whether we wish him a good journey to his next world or not, Tom knew he will have good trip to where he is now. My wish or not doesn't matter to Tom, maybe it only matters to me. Tom lived a full live !!!!!!
